Kangaroo Point Cliffs
A great place for people to gather for picnics and barbecues with great views of the city. This is also an excellent vantage point for fireworks on the river. There is plenty of space on top of the cliffs and by the riverside.
South Bank Parklands
Located on the south side river bank opposite the CBD, this strip of parkland is common location for families and friends to meet up. There are lots of grass areas with some tucked away. Recent renovations to the parklands have added a great sloped grass section toward the Goodwill Bridge. There is also landscaping being done currently to sections of the parklands.
Brisbane Botanical Gardens
Lush green corner of the CBD surrounded by hotels, QUT and the river. The most expansive location so far with lots of open space for larger concepts and high traffic pathways for smaller ones.
Logan Road, Woolloongabba
Located on Logan Road near The Gabba Village (Gabba 5-Ways) this small piece of land has remained unused since the Clem7 tunnel was finished with the ventilation structure for the tunnel beside it. The Brisbane Cricket Ground is a mere 200 metres away from this location.
